About Us

The Whitley County Agricultural Museum and 4-H Learning Center was organized in 2006 to help preserve our agricultural heritage and pass this information on to our future generations. We believe the Museum will provide a mechanism by which an important part of our American history can be exhibited and demonstrated to many people of all ages. The Museum has many learning centers and hands-on activities that make our history come to life for both young people and adults.

There are more than 20 different learning stations available to teach students about the history and development of Indiana. School groups can explore history in a hands-on environment as they learn about soap-making, pioneer games, blacksmithing, cooking, harvesting, and many other activities.

The Museum is open by appointment to school groups, organizations, families, clubs, or any other group that would like to visit. We can seat over 125 people for meals and meetings. If you are interested in renting the Museum for meetings, reunions, or any other activity, please give us a call.

The Museum is located in Columbia City just south of US 30 on Lincolnway at the Whitley County 4-H Park.
